DESIGN & DECORATION
1/ What is the Design Shop?

The Design Shop allows you to create and preview your custom apparel. Within the Design Shop you may choose from three decoration types including Sewn On Letters (a.k.a Block Letters, Family Letters, Stitch Letters, Applique Letters, Tackle Twill Letters), Embroidery Designs or Printed Designs.

2/ What are my design options?

At DesignerGreek there are a plethora of design options which include but are not limited to: Sewn-On Letters (a.k.a Block Letters, Family Letters, Stitch Letters, Applique Letters, Tackle Twill Letters), Embroidery, Monograms, Screen-Printing, Garment Printing, Heat Transfers, and Pocket and/or Frockets. If you are unsure of which design type is best for you order, our Design Team can help you decide. Factors such as order size, budget, design intricacy, size, and number of colors are all important elements to consider.

3/ What is the difference between Sewn On Letters & Embroidery?

Sewn On Letters (a.k.a Block Letters, Family Letters, Stitch Letters, Applique Letters, Tackle Twill Letters) are laser cut letters, sewn to the garment by an embroidery machine through a four step process. The background letters are available in Solid and Metallic fabrics and the foreground letters are available in Solids, Prints, and Metallics. Our Sewn On Letters come in the following sizes: 2”, 3.25”, 4.5” (standard).

Embroidery is when thread is stitched into a garment by an embroidery machine. Size, location, thread color, font, and wording are all variables in this process.

4/ What type of stitching is used for the letters?

Designer Greek uses Zig-Zag Stitching for our Sewn-On Letters, however Satin Stitching is available for an additional $12.00 due to the significant increase of stitches around your letters & sew time. Within the Design Shop you will have the option to upgrade your stitching.

5/ What type of fabric are the letters made from?

Many of our solid fabrics are made from 100% polyester twill fabric. This particular fabric does not fade and holds its shape exceptionally well. Designer Greek’s printed fabrics are made from cotton blends which vary from print to print.

6/ Are the solid colored letters identical from order to order?

Most often the letter colors are the same. However, when Designer Greek runs out of a specific color, a new batch will be ordered. Since the fabric is dyed, shades will sometimes vary slightly from batch to batch.

7/ Are the colors and fabrics accurately represented on the website?

Designer Greek has done its best to accurately represent all colors and fabrics on the website; however, due to differences in computer monitors, small variations may exist and colors may appear brighter on the screen.

8/ Will the same fabric patterns always be available?

DesignerGreek will carry the printed fabrics for as long as the manufacturer supplies them, which is usually at least for a 1 year period. However, once a fabric is discontinued, Designer Greek will no longer carry that particular print.

PRODUCTS
1/ Is there a minimum order limit for each item?

Most products do not require a minimum purchase! DesignerGreek will fulfill your order large or small.

2/ Does Designer Greek have a catalog?

3/ What is the best way to determine apparel sizes?

Unless specified, the apparel is unisex. Sizing chart links are available on each product page. Chest and Body Length are the most important to consider. Chest is typically measured from armpit to armpit and Body Length is measured from the top of the garment to the bottom.

If you are at all unsure about sizing please contact our Customer Care Team. Remember, Designer Greek cannot accept returns or exchanges if your apparel does not fit.

4/ Among clothing brands, are the colors identical?

No. Each apparel brand has its own color line. While some colors like Black will be close, other colors such as Light Blue may be very different.

5/ Are the apparel colors identical to the letter colors?

No! Both are made from different fabrics, so variations do exist. Some colors may be similar, but not identical.

6/ Does DesignerGreek carry Youth sizes?

Yes! Although Youth sizes are not available on the website at this time, we do carry them. Please Talk With A Product Designer for help.

7/ Is it okay to machine wash and dry my lettered apparel?

Designer Greek recommends that apparel be washed inside out in cold water. Do not add bleach or other chemicals to the load. For best results, dry garments on low or lay flat to dry. Finally, iron press your letters on a low temperature after each washing.

ORDERS
1/ How do I use a promo code?

Enter the promo code in your shopping bag to receive a discount on your order. Discounts exclude Gift Certificates and are not applicable to previous purchases. Only one promo code per purchase; not combinable with any other offers such a bulk pricing. Shipping charges still apply.

2/ How will I know that you've received my order?

Once items have been ordered, a confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. You may choose to print this for your records. Additionally, an email version of this summary will be sent, provided that we have an accurate email address. Your DesignerGreek account will also list all current and past orders.

3/ What if I need to cancel my order?

Because most items are custom made, once an order has been processed and manufacturing has begun, it becomes final. If the order has been processed but manufacturing has not commenced, and you would like to cancel, there will be a 20% restocking fee for the amount of that item. Otherwise, if the order has not yet been processed (usually within 24 hours) cancellations can be made by emailing customercare@designergreek.com. In addition to all other charges, a $3 transaction fee will be incurred for all cancelled and refunded orders.

4/ What if I need to change my order?

Because all items are personalized, once an order has been processed and manufacturing has begun, changes are not possible. If the order has been processed but manufacturing has not commenced, a $5.00 fee per item will be charged for any changes made. Otherwise, if the order has not yet been processed (usually within 24 hours) changes can be made by emailing sales@designergreek.com. Be sure to reference your order number in the subject line.

5/ What if an item is on backorder?

We strive to maintain inventory on all products, however, if an item is on backorder, you will receive an e-mail and/or phone call from our Customer Care Team.

DELIVERY
1/ Where should I have my package sent if I am going on break?

Designer Greek encourages you to use your permanent/home address as the shipping address for orders placed during or after Thanksgiving, prior to Spring Break, and when you know that no one will be available to accept the package. If you are unsure of delivery times please contact customercare@designergreek.com and a sales representative will provide you with an estimated delivery date so that you may enter the appropriate shipping address.

2/ What if no one was available to accept my package and it was returned to Designer Greek?

Designer Greek encourages you to use your permanent/home address as the shipping address for orders placed during or after Thanksgiving, prior to Spring Break, and when you know that no one will be available to accept the package. FedEx will attempt to deliver a package(s) for three consecutive business days. If no response is received, your package will be returned to DesignerGreek and you will be charged to reship your order. USPS will hold your package at your local postal office for approximately one week before it is returned to Designer Greek. Again, Designer Greek is not responsible for any costs incurred to reship your order.

3/ What if the shipping address I provided is incorrect or missing information and my order is returned to DesignerGreek?

If the shipping address provided is incorrect or missing information and your order is returned to DesignerGreek, you will be responsible for the second delivery payment as our shipping carriers do not offer complimentary reshipping.

4/ What if I don’t receive my order after it is shipped by Designer Greek?

DesignerGreek assumes no responsibility for delays or losses resulting from the negligence of the carrier, strikes, weather conditions, power failures or other acts of nature. DesignerGreek will not reimburse or discount your credit card if an item is lost during delivery. Rather, DesignerGreek will contact the shipping company immediately in an attempt to find the package. If the package cannot be found, DesignerGreek will file a claim with the shipping company and take appropriate steps at that time.

If you shipping address has an apartment number or dorm room, be sure to include it in the ship to address. Do not assume that the carrier will find your residence if any information is missing from the shipping label.

5/ Will I receive all the items in my order at the same time?

Not always. We strive to ship the products you order as soon as they are available which sometimes results in multiple shipments.

6/ Which shipping carriers do you use?

We ship most orders via US Priority Mail (www.usps.com) as this is the fastest and most affordable service. Larger orders and group orders are shipped via FedEx Ground (www.fedex.com).

If you have special delivery requirements, please note that DesignerGreek cannot make special requests to the shipping carriers. For delivery assistance please email customercare@designergreek.com and we will do our best to support you.

7/ Do you ship outside the United States?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the US Territories or foreign countries at this time.

8/ How do you calculate your shipping and handling charges?

Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of the merchandise in your cart. That said, you’ll never pay more than $9.95 for each order as DesignerGreek subsidizes the remaining costs to help keep shipping prices reasonable. If you have any questions or concerns about how shipping fees are calculated please contact customercare@designergreek.com.

9/ How long will it take for my items to arrive?

For standard, in-stock items, our team strives to ship your purchase within 2-4 business days.

For custom jewelry, accessories, and gifts, most items are shipped within 6-8 business days.

For custom apparel items, including sewn-on letters, embroidery, and printed designs, our production team strives to produce and ship your items within 5-8 business days. Please remember that each item is personalized and created upon order placement. Factors such as complexity of the order (satin stitching, additional embroidery), product availability, and quantity of the order may increase production time.

Shipping times are not included in the production estimates above. Most orders are shipped via US Priority Mail which takes 1-3 days to arrive. Larger orders are shipped via FedEx Ground and take 1-5 days to arrive depending on your location. Express shipping (1-2 days) is available upon checkout however this selection does not speed up production time.

RETURNS
1/ How long does my refund take?

Refunds are generally processed within 1-4 days of your returned merchandise arriving back at our Seattle headquarters. Refunds will be issued back to the same card used to make the original purchase which can take 2-14 days depending on the speed of your bank.

2/ What if I am missing an item, something is damaged when I receive it, or my order was filled incorrectly?

All orders should be opened and inspected upon arrival. Shortages, incorrect orders, or damaged items due to shipping or manufacturer defects should be reported to DesignerGreek within 5 days of package delivery. If you believe that Designer Greek filled your order incorrectly, please first check your order confirmation e-mail sent to you from DesignerGreek containing your order summary. Please do not return items to DesignerGreek without first receiving a Return Authorization number.

3/ What is the return policy for online purchases?

We stand behind our products 100% and we are confident that the craftsmanship and quality of our products will meet, if not exceed, your expectations. We care about your satisfaction and our Customer Care Team is always available to help.

CUSTOM ITEMS

Almost everything at DesignerGreek is custom made based on your design selections, therefore, only pieces damaged during shipping or with manufacturer defects are replaceable by an identical item. DesignerGreek cannot accept returns based on color or size discrepancies, so if you have any questions or concerns regarding these factors, please email or call our Customer Care Team prior to placing your order. We are always happy to provide sizing charts, apparel and fabric swatches, and product photos.

NON-CUSTOM ITEMS

DesignerGreek accepts returns for non-custom items within 7 days of delivery. Please email sales@designergreek.com and reference your order number in the subject line to begin the return process.

FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS

Final Sale and Clearance items are not returnable or exchangeable except for manufacturing defects.

GROUP ORDERS
1/ Are there benefits from ordering large quantities of the same item?

YES! We call them "Volume Discounts." The more you order of the same item, the better the price --- it's that simple!

Group Orders can be placed two ways:

1/ Work with a Product Designer by completing form on our Group Orders page. Or if you prefer to contact us directly, simply email sales@designergreek.com.

2/ Customize your apparel now and benefit from bulk pricing upon checkout. To get the biggest discount, select all the same size & then note your actual size breakdown in the comments box during checkout. We'll confirm with you by email when your group order is received!

2/ Is it beneficial to order in groups?

Definitely! Designer Greek always encourages you to place order in groups, whether small or large. For all group orders you will save money on shipping and for larger orders you may qualify for our VOLUME DISCOUNTS. Either way, you will save!

CREDIT & PAYMENTS
1/ What are the payment forms accepted?

Designer Greek accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Full name, card number, expiration date, and the billing address are required for the transaction to occur. Checks and money orders are also accepted, however production will not commence until the check or money order has been received and cleared (this will delay production and delivery). Designer Greek does not accept cash.

2/ Why was my credit card charged/check cashed even though I have yet to receive my order?

At Designer Greek everything is customized and made upon receipt of order. As a result, we cannot begin production until all payments are processed and approved.
